The Mission of REPL is to encourage racial ethnic persons to consider church vocations, with particular emphasis on pastoral ministry in racial ethnic congregations.
The 2009 deadline for scholarship applications is April 30 2009. The application form may be downloaded onto your computer, completed online and submitted. Since part of the application process (Part IV) requires a recommendation, there is a separate online form that those recommending scholarship candidates may complete. There is an alternate form that may be downloaded, printed, and returned to the Synod's REPL chairperson, the Rev. Leon E. Fanniel. Forms may be mixed; i.e., the applicant might prefer to complete an online form but the person recommending that individual could choose to mail in a printed form. Mailing information is on the application form.
