- The Synod's Committee on Cross-Presbytery Ministries, through its task force on Justice, Peace, and the Integrity of Creation (JPIC-SY) has prepared guidelines for the distribution of Peacemaking Funds to qualifying groups. The Committee on Cross-Presbytery Ministries (CCPM) has the responsibility to develop and support a broad strategy for mission and ministry across the Synod of Southern California and Hawaii, coordinating and providing oversight of ministries that cross presbytery borders. This includes making recommendations for use of church development funds and restricted and designated funds for mission and ministry.
The Committee has the authority to create committees and task forces to assist in carrying out its responsibilities.
